Photographer, reporter, artist and poetess, born in Buenos Aires. The political and social events that marked her country determined an involuntary exile that became permanent as time went by.
The late G. Larssen, notorious editor of Paris fashion scene refereed to her work "Sacred & Profane" as "vrai oeuvres d'art". Alicia Romano's work is almost a scenic universe where the plane of expression blends with that of the content, where the form is the very substance, not imposing other connotative references beyond its an undefined sfumato boundaries.
